Could you be more descriptive?
As for not typing numbers in, it should work with the number keys right above the letters.
If you are having trouble with simple counting, use the following mnemonic device: 1 comes before 2 comes before 5,280 comes before 523,860,759 comes after the square root of -153 comes before π. This will make your previous counting problems seem like no big deal.

Maybe your keyboard doesn't work properly; I can type numbers just fine. And what do you mean by "it is hard to make anything"? Do you mean you just have trouble in general, or there's something specific? Please explain more clearly.

Its because the script you are editing is too big. The program slows to a crawl in that case (unknown reason). Just take apart the script, edit it, and then rebuild it.
