Invalid user

Whenever I try to upload my project, scratch keeps on saying:

                               invalid user.

But, I typed in all the correct details, and double checked them.  Why is it doing this?

Re: Invalid user

That happened to me! All I had to do was restart my computer. Maybe there was something wrong with the Scratch server when you posted. I would recommend just trying again.

This happened to me aswell. But I used ‘Copy and Paste’ I typed it into a place where I could see my password Copied and Pasted the password into the 'Password:’ thing. Try that. But Codebreaker may be right. Hope we helped.

Re: Invalid user

This has definitely happened to me multiple times. Various reasons here...

-Scratch server was down
-Internet connection broke
-Actually typing in the wrong password

Also, sometimes if I bring in a Scratch project from my other computer, and upload it on a different one, then it doesn't like uploading unless it's saved on my hard drive. No idea if that's just me, or it happens to other people too. I get that same "invalid user" thing.

I don't know, if it's not working, just stop trying for a little while and get back to it later. Usually that's the best plan.

Close to what I was going to say, I don't think I can really add anything to that.

Re: Invalid user

What I would do, is delete the Scratch you have COMPLETELY off of your computer, but don’t destroy the projects, too. And then re-download Scratch. If it doesn’t work, I’ll be surprised.

It could be a server bug or server hiccup. That's happened to me a couple of times.

Is this problem still showing up for you?

I've tried 5 times since I first posted this topic, and the same thing happened every time.

Re: Invalid user

THe only times it's done that to me was when I actually typed in the wrong password, since I tend to type kins of fast.

Re: Invalid user

I changed my password recently, so I'll try again with this password.
