Do you feel like all your friends are growing away from you? I've been feeling left out like this... everyone seems to like romance and gore and swearing for some reason.
They like pairings and AMVs and teen/adult animae and homestuck and youtube poops and things, and I just honestly don't understand. I also feel like everyone is more advanced than me. Like they act like I'm an amature and they know everything. I just don't understand. Everytime I see my friend's DA pages, (the friends that have DA accounts, of course) , I get depressed for some reason. Some of their artwork and friends are VERY mature sometimes... and I just don't feel right... Can anyone help me? I feel left out...

I only draw gory stuff, I like Animated Music Videos, and watch some anime. I hate romance rubbish, swearing, Homestuck and YouTube poop xD most teens I know HATE gore.

I feel like my best friend thinks I just don't know anything. Apparently she thinks I "can't take a joke" because she says something I think is mean and I get offended, and then she realizes that, and she says "God, Nina, I was just kidding!" and pretty much disses me for taking offense at her "joke".
Doesn't sound like kidding to me. I think she's grown out of me. Whatever. My friends are dropping like flies these days. Only two close ones at my school left... sad

Gore is pointless unless there's a good story behind it, anime I never understood and never will, pairing fictional characters is immature as can be, Homestuck was really cool until the trolls came along, and YouTube Poop is, like, the bomb.

As soon as I get editing software that isn't WMM I will start trying my hand at it.

No, i don't think thats the right way to go at all. We shouldn't have to act to be people's friends. they have to like us for who we Are. we shouldn't have to act at all.
