Re: quiry

You can't put your projects in Powerpoint directly. You could put a file link to your project into one of the slides.

Re: quiry

I'm having a little trouble understanding what you are saying. Can you explain it more but with correct grammar?

thats kind of a rude inquiry

scratch has young users, users not familiar with english, so on and so forth

being picky about grammar on someones first post isn't very polite. for all you know theyre trying their hardest

No, JJROCKER is doing the right thing.
He wants to help, and by doing that he has to ask for better grammar.
The thing that's rude to do is mock the bad grammar or ask in a rude way, but JJROCKER is asking politely.

he's asking politely, assuming that the user in question is fluent with english

this is kind of like telling a guy a cashier at walmart to stop using his accent because you find it hard to understand

Even if you don't know fluent English, you still should know how to use punctuation/capitalization.

Can we get back to welcoming sherwinrabino, before this turns into a debate about grammar?!  tongue

Re: quiry

Well, you want a good grammar? I'll give you one Mr. JJRocker. And who do you think you are a master of none? I think you should focus to what I need and not on what I wrote because you make yourself embarrassed. Also maybe you don't really knew what I'm asking for so you just stay away and shut up!

Re: quiry

I'm sorry about what I said. It's not big deal of what I said for my first quiry. It is not on the agreement that we should write correct grammar. All I want is a good reply which was answered by PoDo. I'm happy he wrote me back and help me a lot. I suggest that next time, I want to help a fellow scratcher, focus on what he ask and not on what he/she said. If you couldn't help then never mind, there is someone who could ok. Thanks to all who understands me!

Re: quiry

You are truly right about it. I'm new on this program and I'm asking for an advise and then someone corrected my grammar in which was not my priority. I hope he learn some manners!

Re: quiry

This is only my opinion (and probably not agreed to by some people on here so lease don't shout at me) that if you don't understand what people are saying ask what they mean but don't directly say what is wrong with it, as if it was just  typo, they could be offended if you said they can't spell. So it's perfectly fine to ask someone to re- explain something as long as you aren't patronising, and JJrocker was perfectly fine asking to explain it more, but it would have been polite not to mention the grammaras it may of been offensive  smile
