Due to some unexpected complications with customized browser extensions, and some negative feedback by other users, it appears that this is not something we want to do right now.  Switching back.

Could it be possible to have it be an option?

Quick rendition I made.  Maybe we should say military time?  Or maybe 12 hour time?  I don't know, but something like that.

I agree with gbear605, it should be an option! I think we too hastily removed it.

I wonder what those complications were...  tongue
Thanks for switching back, Paddle!

You see, I made a nice Chrome extension that adds hours to the forum timestamps to match my time zone. It was programmed to follow a strict 00:00:00 sequence and replace that using regexp.

Of course, if the time on Scratch was 23:00, indicating that the post was done at 29:00 wasn't a credible option. Therefore I made a complicated system that changed the date of the post, took away the excess time, etc. Now, with that AM/PM change, it completely messed up date systems as it wasn't used to calculating the AMPM difference.

Why can't you just use the regular scratch timezone changer...?

Not for moi....
I select my time zone and hit OK and it keeps going back to EST.
It's ok though. I just have to subtract an hour.
