Well, the songs are.
The Nyan Cat song is a Vocaloid song originally titled "Nyanyanyanyanyanyanya!!". It was originally sung by Hatsune Miku. The version you hear in Nyan Cat is a cover by Mamone Mamo, an UTAU.
