It depends on the person. See, you would be replacing forum mods, at least, I'm pretty sure. And I haven't seen you here in the forums. And anybody who doesn't know the forums very well, well, he wouldn't exactly be the greatest mod, not knowing what the community wants. I don't know what to liken it too. There is no set date... It just happens when it does.

He'd be replacing either fullmoon or Wolfie, both having retired and Harakou being elected.

Well, at first I didn't want to do it because I didn't think I'd have enough time to be active.

But, now, I'm a lot more active and plan to continue to be.  I think it would be fun and it would be a cool way of interacting in the Scratch community.

I have read the Cool topic by coolstuff and it seems like a big resposibility but one that I'm ready for.

It just seems like to me that you're doing this for the popularity.

And nothing personal intended, but I'd rather have someone more experienced and knowledgeable about the community be elected as moderator. Also, you don't really seem to project the sort of 'modly' aura that moderators or other certain helpful users give off. In the election, even if I'm allowed to be a finalist, I will vote for Scimonster if possible. I think he'd be the right choice for moderator.

Are admins like you and sci allowed to run for mod?

Uhh... I don't see why not. That's a completely different part of the site and it's Scratcher-run, so admins are appointed, not elected. That alone shouldn't be a reason why someone couldn't run for mod. It's the other things you've done.

Hahaha thanks. If I became mod, I'd try my hardest to actually do something productive with all the hours I spend on these forums. I know I've made a lot of mistakes in the past and done a huge amount of stupid things, but I'm trying my best to be my best now.
