Hey, fellow Scratchers!
I might be running in the moderator election this March. I am very interested in helping out in the Forums and on the main site as a moderator. I am also an active curator for Scratch design Studio and sometimes help out with Wiki.
If I ran, would you vote for me?
No hard feelings, I just want to get an idea.

Maybe, but you are a bit new IMHO... no offence, but you are active.

No. I would vote for Veggie, though. We need someone who can identify with the current issues facing scratchers today!

You're new, but helpful. So maybe.

I understand what you mean.
And I am fairly new, but I feel that I have been active enough that I have learned things fairly fast. In addition, the election won't be held until March, So I'll be evern more experienced by then.

Actually, I think you have to have registered before a certain date in order to run.

You have to be atleast 6 months old, which I will be by March.

Yes, 6 months before the election. March will be 7 months after he registered.
Edit: Beat to the punch by the man himself...
I'd be OK with you winning, although I plan to run myself.

I'll consider running, but there isn't even really a chance the ST will let me even become one of the finalists even if I do have compelling arguments because of my past record. Oh well.

I'd have to see who else was running.

No.. I just think that you're still too new to know us very well, nothing personal, but I think you need to be around longer to win my vote.

I respect your opinion.
So, what do you call "longer"?

I'd say you'd have to be mature, helpful, and on for at least a year before I'd be willing to vote for you unless you prove that you have some sort of exceptional skill or idea. Will you be old enough to run at the time of the election? I thought you were like 10 or 11.

Yeah, well, I don't exactly have a specific "Skill" to offer. However, I am very helpful and would be a great addition to the moderator team.
And I will meet the required age in 2012

You will by March?
And nothing personal intended, but I'd rather have someone more experienced and knowledgeable about the community be elected as moderator. Also, you don't really seem to project the sort of 'modly' aura that moderators or other certain helpful users give off. In the election, even if I'm allowed to be a finalist, I will vote for Scimonster if possible. I think he'd be the right choice for moderator.
