My assignment: A critical analysis of a poem
length of paper: 3-5 pages
time to write this paper: tonight

We've spent less than two weeks on poetry and we're writing our final on it!  I might be able to pull off an OK paper, but...we seriously only got 3 days max to get the first draft done and that's if you had your poem picked out early.  In truth, I love poetry, I think it's a beautiful way to express things...but analyzing it? NO. I could talk for days about poems, but write a paper about them in a 3 part argument format? NO.
