Catching Fire (Second book of the Hunger Games trilogy)
Loved it.
Finally, another fan.
'The hanging tree' was a horrid song.
I would have to say, 'Mockingjay' (3rd book)

Great book.
Has anyone else said this?I think we read it at school once, I wasn't really that interested in it though.
I read it once.
Jim's speech pattern is too hard to follow, and they say 'the n word, meaning black person' a lot.

I'm reading Huckleberry Finn right now! What a coincidence!
And the n word wasn't really a bad word back then. Even now it isn't really a swear but you shouldn't say it because you might offend someone.
I guess then you could say that it is a swear word.

That's what I ment. They have a dumbed-down version in my library, but I like the original better.

Yeah, Mockingjay and the first book were best.

Of course people would be offended. Its a racist word for black men.

Maybe, but Huck doesn't ever use it in an offensive way. I'm not saying it's a good word, just that Huck isn't using it evily.

What really made me angry is when the Library catalogued Speaker of the Dead into the Fantasy section and I couldn't find it when it's obviously a science fiction book, the name just sounds science-fictionesque.

I really liked it. A little hard to understand the lingo at first, but it's pretty awesome! Also, I think I have to do a Mock GCSE exam on it next year, so it helps alot to know what I'm doing it about.

Lord of the Flies, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Catcher in the Rye, and To Kill A Mockingbird.
I also liked Great Expectations a bit, if you find to kill a mockingbird hard to read this will be hell.
