I recently fond out that J.K. Rowling might be writing an 8th Harry Potter book!

She [JKR] has talked about it before, and said she's not making any promises but it's always a possibility.
Personally, I might not like an 8th book. 7th ends everything just fine. It'd be, like, I don't know, a fanfic

I love harry Potter, but I think the 7th book ended extremely well, and, 7 being the magical number in the wizarding world, just adds on to the perfect ending. But if she's making a new series set in the HP universe, I'm all for it  big_smile

What if she puts "Dumbledore's Army and the Year of Darkness" as an official parallel story to Deathly Hallows?

DAYD is a Harry Potter fanfiction, and it is quite possibly one of the greatest fanfictions ever made.
