if it doesn't happen i will be mad

No. This is way too far fetched. When 2.0 come out, it will be all website-based. 3Ds doesn't support Flash, which will be required to make projects when 2.0 comes out. It may (and I said may) happen if a new 3Ds comes out that supports Adobe Flash, but it's unlikely.

Who said it had to run on flash or squeak? They could make a separate server to handle the uploaded from 3DS and that would also be their "website" where they download stuff. You're stuck in the past, new technology has appeared, there is what's called a neutron, that goes faster then light itself. New elements are developed every day! Would it be a challenge? Yes. Would it be rewarding? Definitely for everyone, and maybe people will donate to Scratch. I would but I have no money. When the last generation was born, they didn't even have a simple game system or tv. Yet we built ourselves up to 3D without glasses,4D movies and voice recognizers. Anything is possible. Right now, maybe not,but in the future,it is certain. So before you dismiss this idea, give it a chance.

The ST just wouldn't have the time and interest to do that.

They should have a scratch app for phones which you can upload on the go or at least have a version of touch screen scratch.

It is not impossible. We started off as cave men. Then the human intelligence grew. We invented the computer. It may not be possible now, but human intelligence is growing every day, so who knows? In 5 years or so, it could be possible
well it is possible now, the scratch team just hasn't done it yet.

Maybe. Maybe not.
I believe similar ideas have been declined

Well, unless I'm told by the ST,I'll keep suggesting ideas for a scratch for 3DS here.

I don't think they have the time or resources. It also wouldn't be that relevant to a large enough group of the userbase.

Why don't we just bring this to the attention of the admins? 3DS supports HTML5 right? ( it does, i play HTML 5 games on the internet browser. If you want the URL's just ask me.) So mabye they can code scratch in HTML 5.

A far greater proportion of people own a PC that that which own a 3DS, and since 3DSs don't support flash, using the default program is out of the question. While it would be possible to totally recode it in another programming language that could be ported to the 3DS it wouldn't be very meaningful as maybe 5% of scratchers use one and only a few percent of them would get it. Also they have a budget, so they can't just get a bunch of developers to recode an entire piece of software in another language that will only actually affect a small percent of people. I think that the only other things Scratch might be ported to are phones that support flash, and probably not the project development software.

Yesterday (16/12/12)I just contacted Nintendo about this idea No reply yet...
when gf clicked say [I hope they do this idea] for (2) secs say [I'll post a comment if it happens] for (2) secs say [I voted 3 votes for this on Scratch Suggestions] for (2) secsBut I told Scratch about it and they said it would be good if scratch was ported to 3DS/DS

How about WII U? its as powerful as computers right now.

The only way this would happen is if nintendo made an update for the 3ds to handle flash. Far more likely to happen than the scratch team making a whole other version of scratch just for 3ds.

That was the past. We live in the now. What was impossible may now be possible. And here is a way to do it. 1. 3DS releases a update with java and squeak, enabling 3DS to play online projects (maybe) 2. Scratch makes a scratch app with smaller screens. We extend the bounds of the possible by proving nothing is impossible. Did you know they discovered a neutrino,a force FASTER than light?
As far as I know, that is unconfirmed.

Who said it had to run on flash or squeak? Because the ST are not your slaves. They could make a separate server to handle the uploaded from 3DS and that would also be their "website" where they download stuff. They do not have unlimited server space. You're stuck in the past, new technology has appeared, there is what's called a neutron, that Probably goes faster then light itself. New elements are developed every day! Would it be a challenge? Yes. Would it be rewarding? Definitely for everyone, and maybe people will donate to Scratch. I would but I have no money. When the last generation was born, they didn't even have a simple game system or tv. But they didn't have to wait very long, only 10-ish years Yet we built ourselves up to 3D without glasses,4D movies Assuming 3space+1time dimensions, 2D is 2D+4thD and 3D is 4D, and '4D' is 4D+1Sense and voice recognizers. Which, for me, are just of no practical use. Also, how is Siri relevant to Scratch? Anything is possible. Right now, maybe not,but in the future,it is certain. So before you dismiss this idea, give it a chance.Probably, by the time they have the rescourses, Nintendo will have a 4D+1SenseDS out or have retired their DS line.
See my comments.

Scratch for the 3DS is 100% possible; in fact, it is already in development isn't being made by MIT. It will be called 'Go Everywhere" and I am a developer of 'Go Everywhere'.
