Most 'I need help' topics have a title like 'EMERGENCY I NEED HELP!!!!!!111!!!!!'
But that doesn't really explain the problem. When I look at All About Scratch, I look for problems I can solve based by the titles. If they have a title like the one above, I have no clue what I am getting myself into.
Now, a proper title would be something like this:
'I need a little help with scrolling, can anybody help me?'
That is short, sweet and to the point. So does anybody know what I mean? Post a meaningful topic name, not 'OMG I NEED HELPZ NOAWZ'
Once I get Scratcher status, I'll edit this with more info as I go along.

This isn't really a "guide" it's just criticizing people who dont know how to properly head their titles. Sure it's annoying, but most topics get noticed anyways.
And that's a terrible example. I don't like helping people who seem so desperate that they are going to die if you don't answer the question. A better example would be, "Need help with Scrolling" THAT is short and sweet. Not long, drawn out, an it's hard to take people seriously when they use the same word in a scentence twice like that. It makes them seem unprofessional.
A good piece of information to add would be not to bump the topic every three minutes. Be patient with a maximum of two bumps per day.

Some good netiquette is to add as much info into the topic name as possible without making it really long.
I thinking of making a list of "Identifiers" that explain the topic.
[H] = Help ( Maybe 'sub-identifiers' like [HG] = Help with game, [HS] = Help with school project, etc )
[G] = Guide
Just something to explain the topic and so you get the right type of viewers that are more likely to have the answer.
