Hey, guys! I just wanted to thank all of my supporters and anybody who has ever helped me out on Scratch. It's just in time for Thanksgiving, too.
My smart cover project is now #1 Top viewed and I am super thankful for your support, love and even criticism that has helped me be who I am today, an awesome iPad!
As a thanks to you, I ordered a Mac Book Pro today so I can Scratch on a brand new Mac computer! I plan to keep up the great projects and be as helpful and fun to have around as possible in the Scratch community.
Happy Thanksgiving!
-Steve, You're favorite iPad.

Hey! Thanks for all of your help in my app making questions!
Anyway, is this right? Is it $99 for a security certificate to test any app on an iDevice, and an additional $99 per year to publish them?

No problem, Apps and iDevices are my specialty.
Not quite, it's free to test iDevice apps if you already have an iDevice, of course. However the only fee to making an app is creating the Apple Developer account. And yes it is $99.
Check out this page for more info: http://developer.apple.com/programs/ios/
Once you have the account, there are no fees. You make apps, test them and then get a monthly check from Apple!

I have an apple dev account, the free kind where you just register, so I can download Xcode, but not publish apps and stuff, can I still test on iOS devices? All I did was go to http://developer.apple.com/programs/register/ and click register for free and filled out the forms.

I think you must have a paid account to test apps.
