This is depressing.

My family has pretty much disowned me (okay, not really) for hating football.

Discuss the stupidity (or non-stupidity, I guess) of this all.

No, it's like, they'll be watching football, and they'll ask me to come over and "spend time with my family" (which I already do a lot). Then I sort of awkwardly say no thanks, and my mom will sigh and say something like, "Okay, Jackson. Just do whatever you want," and then just watch as I go off to my room with this sort of sad look on her face.

What should I do?

Yeah, I don't like football either and that is pretty unfair.
