Yeah, I always do that! But I do it a little differently
I ask my friend if she has seen something (Like a video).
She automatically says yes.
Then, I quiz her, and she never knows the answers to the questions.

After coming out of the cinema with a bunch of friends, my friend Chris said that he felt like saying really loudly "Wasn't it so terrible when Pepper died?" just to annoy the people standing around who hadn't seen it. lol

Someone did something similar to me about Ranger's Apprentice: Halt's Peril. I actually though Halt was gonna die. lol

I saw a show similar to this.
There was a simulated crime, and several witnesses, with "vivid" recollections of what happened, were put tin a room with each other and two fake ones. Those fake witnesses were able to change the other's "memories" a LOT.

By the way, my experience that I mentioned above was just after seeing Iron Man 2, where Pepper does nearly die, but not actually.
