Note: I took ssss and henley off the collab. They don't really go on much, so I think it would be better to give the opportunity to someone that has more time. However, if any one of you (ssss or henley) wants to go back on the collab, that's ok, I'll put you guys back on.
Since samtwheels couldn't be in the collab anynore, I decided to take his place before the topic becomes out of date. (Maybe Zeusking would be a better leader, but...
)
Our collab
Our collab is the QuantumOS collab- samtwheel's original mission was to make to have a style of it's own, unlike Windows, Mac OS, Linux and other Unix-based systems, etc.
So far our progress is:
Features already done:
I. Graphics
-taskbar unlike any other- covers two sides of the desktop instead of merely a bar
-GUI made by Zeusking19 and a1130
II. Programming
-interactive OS setup, user and password creator
-"Interactive Quantum" app allows you to type commands which are broadcasted
-RubyINSTALL and RubyUNINSTALL, an app store which which installs one app so far, CALC (a calculator app)
-Easter Egg(s). One so far- type "open the pod bay doors" in Interactive Quantum.
Things to do:
-Add more apps to RubyINSTALL. Ideas (mostly by samtwheels):
*Internet Browser
*QuantumMus Media Player (name by a1130)
*Game Center (made by samtwheels, former member of collab)
*TextType (word processor?)
*MyCalendar
*Quantum Help
Our OS team so far consists of (I am pretty much everything):
OS Developers:
*ssss
*a1130
*bbbeb
*Thescratch3
App Developers:
*a1130 (I won't always be making apps but I will occasionally make one or two)
*ipodbiped (unofficially)
Artists:
*Zeusking19
*a1130
We are still accepting people, so join if you like. If you want to opt out you can tell us too- theres nothing wrong about it. I think up to 5 people for each category will be good enough. To be part of the collab, you should make sure you have enough time to be on.

made sort of a "goodbye app". It's called qVideo, and can play a video. http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/samtwheels/2159965

I will start an app store, which will download .ruby packages.

Started app store button, but in interactive quantum and about (so far) only have a new UI. It looked too windowsy.

I would develop apps for rubyINSTALL if I had the SDK. I won't actually join the collab until I've made a couple of apps.
OK... I don't have the SDK either.
I think samtwheels does, but he's not officially part of the collab anymore. I need to ask him for it

It's buried somewhere in My Stuff. Feel free to use it, although it needs some debugging.

Ssss and henley, I have to say that you are GREAT Scratchers and you would be good to have in our collab, but I took you guys off the collab because you hardly did anything. If you want to rejoin, you can tell me.

Oh, I forgot to ask where I can find QuantumOS so that I can test the apps. If it's not finished, I'll try and help as much as I can.
EDIT: Found the Dev. Preview (on samtwheels' page)

Bump. iPod, nice job with the mod. I am thinking about importing it into Quantum, but not sure if it should entirely replace RubyINSTALL

While RubyINSTALL is not complete, I kinda disagree. Plus we still have to do the QuantumREG system.
I will start that now.
