The title says it all. Does anyone else play Mount&Blade? It's an awesome medieval game with kings, lords, ladies, and of course the everyday village farmers and villagers. You get to create your own character. Then it becomes a game about swordfighting (You can set it to no blood appearing) and exploring. You can recruit new men in taverns, and you can also save them if they're being held captive by the enemies you attack. Then you get to decide your own life. You can join one of the kingdoms (The Vaegirs, Swadians, Nords, Rhodoks, and Sarranids) and you must be loyal to your king. Sometimes the marshal of the kingdom will send you on quests, like besieging a castle or scouting an area. And then, when you get a big army, you can conquer castles for your kingdom and sometimes even have your own castle! Anyways, pretty much, you create your own life. So, does anyone else like it? Discuss Mount&Blade!
My characters are Sir Phillip (He is a Vaegir and I believe he owns Vyincourd Castle.) and Heather (She's not a vassal of any kingdom yet, so she just fights Looters, Mountain Bandits, and the occasional Sea Raider.)

I freaken love this game. I'm have a Swadian army though I never have vassalage to any kingdom, I just go into mercenary service.
Mods are pretty cool too. Diplomacy mod is a must

Well, no. It has a strategy element but not a traditional isometric strategy. There is a 3rd/1st person sword element when you're in battles, taking over a castle, whatever and then there is the travelling element where you can chose where to go to avoid big armies etc.
Try it out for yourself. There's a demo at http://www.taleworlds.com/

Yeah, I played it a lot yesterday, and I'm going to some more today. I've always liked the Kingdom of Swadia, but King Yaroglek, Sir Phillip's king, declared war on everybody and never attacks them. So they just take us over. -__- Anyways, yeah, Mount&Blade is epic.
