Which version? I think that 2.49b is best, and WAY better than 2.5. I STILL can't figure out how to color stuff.

I use 2.5. It's COMPLICATED . I can barely figure out anything on there, its VERY difficult.

And work on modelling first. Once you're comfortable with that, keep modelling. Animation's a whole different field.
