Variabels

Hi to all, im quite new in Scratch so i need some help. Im making a game and i did arround 70% of it. Next thing what i have to make is to set a "life" variable. Actualy if the character in bottom of the screen doesn't catch a ball then life is going for one number below, and if the character catch the ball then "another ball" should appear at the top and character should catch it and so on  until ball goes out of the character's field and touch the bottom

Re: Variabels

This will do what I'm pretty sure you meant:

Then just make the balls alternate appearing at the top and bottom.

This is what you said:

but that won't make them have to pick up the balls.  The script on the top is almost certainly what you want.

Re: Variabels

This above really did helped me in some things and thank you but the most important part in my project is when the character catches the ball then another ball appear and need to be catched. In short, balls are constantly dropping and need to be catched or else im loosing one life point. I hope im understandable

Re: Variabels

Oh.

Into the first script in my previous post, insert "broadcast new ball and wait" after the "change life by -1".  Then add this script to your ball sprite:
