I once accedentaly killed it cuz i mixed it up with firefox.exe. I had to button-kill the computer and restart it.

I did kill explorer.exe once by accident (I thought it was the process for Internet Explorer ^^U).
I used to kill the process for Firefox Aurora a couple of times when it kept eating way too much memory and started freezing - but then I did a fresh re-install of the browser and now it's working quite fine. But sometimes I'll still kill the process if it's way too slow to close and if I'm in a bug hurry.

I kill BFHeroes.exe on occasion, because EA made a complete failure system of shutting down the geme.

How do you do that? O_o
You have to use the Force Quit window found under the Apple menu.

I quit it occasionally, especially while running Shelled Basix tests (because SB doesn't allow Explorer to run while its running).

It seems like a lot of people are mistaking Explorer for something else
I kill Firefox a lot when it freezes up. I really need to cut down on the amount of pages I have open on it; I have 4 windows all crammed full of tabs
