New upload problem

In the past day or so, I've seen several projects that worked in Scratch no longer worked when shared on the website.  In particular button clicks don't appear to be detected, and turtle drawing wasn't working.

Any ideas why that might be?  Anything changed in the past couple of days in how projects are converted into applets?

Re: New upload problem

Could you post a link to the projects you are referring to? Thanks for the report!

Re: New upload problem

This project works (you can click the arrow sprites to move the cat) in Scratch, but only one arrow works on the web:

Re: New upload problem

There was a bug in the Java player. It's now fixed and the game works.

Re: New upload problem

Thanks, it's working now for me in Firefox, but not in Safari.  Pehaps the applet is getting cached?

Re: New upload problem

You guessed it--the Applet gets cached. Just refeshing the page does not reload it; you need to quit and restart Safari. There is a little version number in the upper left of the Applet. The old Applet was "25-Mar-07". Now it should read "v10". (I switched to version numbers to be more subtle.)

Scratch on!
