Don't say you like her that will end the friendship

Don’t worry. It might be a little awkward (if she says no, that is), but if you guys are as close as you said you were, you’ll still be very good friends.

But I’m pretty sure she likes you back. 

Don't do it in front of her friends; tell her you like her IN PRIVATE. And have a plan if you ask her out

im a girl and i would feel like the guy was lazy if he didn't tell me in person. no offense.
