You're in middle school, it's not that important, blah.
If you were in middle school and someone gave you this advice, what would you do? Probably get angry and ignore it, right? So why do you tell this to him?

she and I are close friends already.
We both enjoy video games.
She's not so popular and she is kind hearted.
Please give me help ASAP.
I did not read any other replies yet, so this is my own mind.
First of all. Tell her. What’s the worst that could happen? Chances are, she probably likes you too.
Second, I made a topic almost exactly like this earlier this year.

Oh, and it turns out that the girl didn’t like me back, and it was really awkward.
But the circumstances were different, and you know her a lot better than I did.

I am a girl so I can talk you through this.
1. If you're really nervous about just telling her, ask a friend to tell her for you. Make it a trustworthy one.
2. This one is HUGE: No matter if she likes you back or not, she is still going to like you as a friend, because most girls are excited when guys like them no matter who they are.
3. Continue to talk to her and be nice to her once she knows. Pretend like nothing ever happened. When some stupid kid told the boy I liked about my feelings for him, I just acted like I always am to him and he didn't look weirded out a bit! I dunno if this would work with your dilemma, as everyone's different, but it works for me. Be strong. Girls love guys that aren't afraid to show their feelings.
Hopefully I helped...

Thanks! I'm thinking about telling her sometime soon. But I'll do it after school when nobody is around!

Find out what her favorite video game character is. Make that character your favorite too. Then ask her what her favorite video game character is.

Option Numero uno:Try to tell her when nobody's around. Be honest, girls like honesty (Even though I'm not one.)
Option Numero dos:Ask someone to tell that you like her FOR You.
Option Numero tres (A.K.A. Probably the worst one):Write a mysterious note. Not a sappy note, but one that makes her wonder "I Need to find out who wrote this."
I Have the same problem, which leads me to Numero cuatro:Tell her how you feel. How long you've been meaning to ask her, or how much you like her. After so, try to be nice to her. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Oh, and if anyone teases you about you liking that person, just tell them "Well, you're eventually gonna like someone SOMEDAY," 'cause that's what I Did. And then, I Threatened to beat them up. It works.
Hope this helps.

Odd. I thought that the whole "get a friend to do it" thing was a big no-no.
I've told a few girls my feelings for them, but I consider myself pretty shy person. I usually flatter the girl as much as possible. Wether or not she likes me back, I make it the greatest day of her life anyway.
I try my best to be very romantic, but mostly for her to be happy. I liked a girl who loved art, and appreciated pretty much anything in a museum. So I taped FOUR poster boards together to make a giant one. I put it next to her backpack, and it had recreations of cliche famous artwork on it. All of the pictures were relatively small, but they formed a heart on the poster. In the middle I signed my name. She didn't like me back, but she thought that was really sweet, and put a top hat over the first letter of my name. Now, whenever I sign things, I put a top hat over the first letter of my name.
I have two other stories, but I'm typing on my phone so I might share later.

I'm not going to try to be romantic with this yet. I am going to just tell her. If her and I do end up in a relationship, it will be small to start.
