Some good bands?
OK so i need some new music to listen to. Here are some bands i like, and if you know ANY of them and know other groups simialar to them, let me know. im not sure if anybody is going to reply because they aren't very popular artists.
To name a few:
The White Stripes
The Black Keys
Vampire Weekend
AWOLnation
Passion pit (ehhh....kinda)
And just about anything that was written after 1970 and 1990. After that, popular music just became kinda terrible.

Period.
The best AC/DC songs are, For Those About To Rock We Salute You,Hells Bells,T.N.T, Shoot To Thrill (listening to it right now 
) You Shook Me All Night Long, Riff Raff, to name a few.
Also Led Zeppelin is too awesome.

Chevelle, if you like some hard stuff. They have some good songs, like Vitamin R, Closure, Comfortable Liar, and they have some nice acoustic stuff. I'd recommend them a try.

Im actually not a big fan of the beatles. Im not really sure why. i dont like their sound. Same w/ radiohead, unfortunately. I just listened to a few Monkees, and they're pretty good, actually XD thanks

YES they are both epic. I have every AC/DC album on my ipod and the Led Zeppelin three CD box set.

I have every early AC/DC album on my ipod, and every LZ record up until presence.
Problem Child is awesome too. I like Areosmith (BUT ONLY UNTIL NIGHT IN THE RUTS)

ok if you like the white stripes you might want to check out the other garage rock revival 'the' bands
the hives
the strokes
the vines
also unrelated but you might like the other bands in the elephant 6 collective besides neutral milk hotel
like beulah
the apples in stereo
the olivia tremor control
of montreal
etc.

Try Flyleaf, if you like alternative music with a female lead singing. Breaking Benjamin is awesome, they are really good. Thousand Foot Krutch is one of my favorites, but their earlier albums need getting used to. Try their album "Welcome to The Masquerade". It's their latest and has their best songs. Plus, their a secular Christian band. You can interpret some of their songs in two ways.
