What do you want to do with your programming skills? if you want to make games, you you could read up on XNA in google. it allows you to make games for the XBOX. or if you want to make web sites, learn XML, CSS, Javascript, etc... If you just want to play around, why not stay on Scratch?

learn storytelling alice then alice then learn javascript then XHTML then XML then when you've learned all that you're on your way to making a .EXE then learn css then c++ then c then c# then you can make a .DLL for your exe!
