Scratch 2.0
When will it come out? I started about a 4 years ago. Last year it said it'll come out in early 2011. Where is it. o:

1. Scratch 2.0 has only been in development for 2 years.
2. Keep in mind they're rewriting the entire program from the ground up, which I can tell you, is not an easy task. Just be patient; it'll come eventually.
I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Yeah, it's not that easy. Think about coding what a block should make a sprite do in Flash. Then multiply by a lot.
Also, there's the hard part about the system functions, like saving, the sprite arrangements, etc.
By the way, it's in the land of not doneness. That's where it is.

I'm fond of saying that everything in programming takes twice as long as you think it will. They gave their best estimate, and I'd guess some difficulties came up while debugging.
