Someone made a program awhile ago that does that. Let me see if I can find it.

Edit: I found that topic. The download there no longer works, but I reuploaded the original file here. Unfortunately, it hasn't been updated since 2008, so I don't know about its compatibility with 1.4  hmm

Well, it's not even compatible with the new OS X updates apparently... didn't work for me.
