As shiguy said, Steve Jobs was the founder and CEO of Apple.  He died yesterday of pancreatic cancer, so many people are making a dedication to him.

He used to be the CEO of Apple.  Apple invented the first personal computer (the Apple Computer 2), the iPod, Mac OS X (and all the earlier versions), iPad, iPhone, and a whole bunch of other stuff.  He recently died- and not a year after retiring on permanent medical leave, too!
