Most specifically, its when a moderator or member of the Scratch Team feels it hold important information so they stick-it (thats the name) to the top so everybody can see it.

A thread that sticks to your hand and you CAN'T GET IT OFF.
It's polite to post "IT'S A TRAP" in all the stickies to warn future Scratchers.
To get rid of a stickie, cut off your hand.
Error:Signature could not load. Please wait for an indefinite amount of time, until you realize you're gullible and go off to look for another potentially interesting signature to stare at.
