Save projects in other formats

IDK where else to sugest this but... They should make it so you can save the project to a format so that people can share projects on other sites (Ex WAVs)

Re: Save projects in other formats

Well, and how is the page meant to be reading it? Scratch projects are Squeak, so you need a converter. Even this must be hard for Scratch programms (if shown) are still different from movies or games.
But there is a way to share a project on your self-made webside. The code should be in the FAQ

There's the possibility that later versions on Scratch will allow people to export their project into a Flash file.  smile

XD, I'm not part of the development team, though, I largely handle the moderation side. It's rumored that exportation to SWF files is possible, but when (or if) that will happen, I do not know.  hmm

Re: Save projects in other formats

It's a very likely-to-happen rumour, as scratch 2.0 is being written in flash, so it would seem likely that there will be an export to swf.

Re: Save projects in other formats

Don't we already have a flash version of scratch?

Error:Signature could not load. Please wait for an indefinite amount of time, until you realize you're gullible and go off to look for another potentially interesting signature to stare at.

That's the beta flash player.

Scratch, the program to make projects itself, is going to be in Flash.

This wouldn't work, because WAV are music files, so if you were to upload scratch project with WAV, to iTunes or someother thing, it would just freeze the webpage. You should look here for more information. See? iTunes or someother website would have to setup and program a whole new player (which would take a couple of months) for that.
