Bumping is when someone posts on a topic just to make the topic more visible by bringing it to the top of the list of active topics. It is allowed but their are limits to what is considered acceptable bumping.
It can be annoying when the topic is bumped too often or too soon. I notice that this topic was bumped only a minute or so after it was first posted. That's too soon. You should at least wait a couple of hours for the first bump and then probably a day before bumping again.
Of course, I realize that randomnumber53 was only doing it to be funny - but I thought I'd take the opportunity to educate folks that might not be familiar with bump etiquette.
