Ok, someone gave me this problem, I remember solving it 2 years ago, but for some reason I can't anymore!
Its: Show how 2/3 of 6 equals 9.
I wouldn't call it math problem, but I still can't figure it out
What is it?
* Please Don't say "The Answer" or "2/3*6=9"

It may have something to do with flipping 6 over.

2/3 of 6 = (2/3)*6 Reason: "of" means *
(2/3)*6 = (2*6)/3 Reason: Associative Property
(2*6)/3 = 12/3 Reason: Multiplication
12/3 = 4 Reason: Division
4 != 9 Reason: Common Sense

Math? Okay. xD
But why did you do (2/3)*6 to (2*6)/3?

for 4! equals 24, and the ! comes from no where!

That means 4 !=9 means 4 is not equal to equal sign 9.

Oh, Assoc. Prop. Okay.

I thought this ≠ was the sign. (and it isn't math problem!!)

![]()
!= can be used as well, especially in programming

It can get confusing with ! (factorial) and I need to update my math class

2/3rds of 6 is 4.
4*2.25=9
(4x2.25=9)

4*2.25=9
(4x2.25=9)
Again, the equation is (2/3)6=9. 2.25 comes from nowhere

Use a calculator, 2/3*6=4
