Scientists at the Royal Research Institute of Poyois have, after studying the psychology and speech patterns of an average human, discovered that when the inferior alveolar nerve passes through the mandible foramen on its way to the tongue, it constricts itself.
What this basically means is this. When you talk, this inferior alveolar nerve passes through a section called the mandible foramen, which "warbles" and distorts its movement, causing it to produce the tangible "a", "e", "d", "t" and "l" sounds(the rest are produced by the superior alveolar nerve).
Now, because it constricts itself(tightens itself), you are physically unable to produce consecutive words which have those sounds as its first letter.
For example, you cannot say the words "eye", "laws", "dug" and "aim" in sequence as the first letters of the words are "e", "l", "d" and "a", all of which are letters included in the list in the second paragraph.
Discuss this odd anomaly. I personally think that if we could somehow loosen up the inferior alveolar nerve, we would be able to produce odd screeching sounds, which would be a great day for sci-fi movie producers(movies involving alien sound effects) and a very bad day for sound effect producers.

Well, I doubt people would go that far to loosen up a nerve in the body for the sake of sound effects.
I wonder if the study looked at other languages since different languages often use a varying range of sounds. ^^

I think I disproved this discovery by saying those words out loud in a sequence...

It's a common misconception that some people make.
You have to properly say the words(ie. enunciate clearly). Some people have a deep Southern drawl, and in the end, they're saying "ai lawrsh darg airm" or something like that. In fact, any slang is bad.
If you really find yourself unable to rid yourself of a slang or accent, try this helpful web page. I "disproved" the theory too, because of my Singaporean accent, which draws out all the words and basically ruins the constriction of the nerve.
But when I said it properly, my throat simply tightened up and went all dry, and I couldn't say anything. I could breathe, but it was like my vocal cords went numb and my throat contracted.

Oh yeah! Just realised it. I suppose it could make for good internet trolling.
"Troll Science-Your body is naturally adapted to make you NOT lose the game".

If this is a troll topic, good one. If not, how am I supposed to say it? Because I have a slight irish accent.

Didn't I link you to a good pronounciation website?

Actually, I got the news direct from the Straits Times(our local newspaper).
@meew0-I lost the game too, but I'm sure there's a trolling thread you can post that in.

Bump.
Isn't anyone interested in this? It's limit to the amount of sounds your tongue can make, which might affect radio transmissions(if a squad of soldiers had codenames of eye, laws, dug, and aim, then how could you say "Eye, Laws, Dug and Aim have reported to HQ", for example?)

Why does everyone keep saying I'm trolling?
I don't get it.
Seriously, guys, is this some sort of inside joke or prank or what...?

I didn't understand anything that lady said. It sounded like random ranting about pronounciation and New Jersey, and was really boring.
I really am interested in this though, how did they figure it out?

Um... is this some sort of random spam? Cause I seriously don't get it. It's just a string of unconnected words; how can it be related to The Game? Also, you don't think, therefore... you aren't?
