Like I said, now it's just the mark of an Apple device. It was originally used on the first gen (I think) iMac.

the "i" is supposed to represent customization/the device being centered around the owner

iCarly and stuff like that just uses it because it is often associated with technology (thanks to apple)

I got a request to rename this topic to "List things that start with i" - but I don't think that that is a very good idea.  There's an entire section of the dictionary dedicated to letter "i" words (iota, idea, impulse, inorganic, ....) and there are hundreds of them. 

I decided to go with "Products named i-something" as that seemed pretty clear.  I left out the "list" part as that kind of makes it a TBG.  If that doesn't work for you, just use the Report button again  smile
