Well $3000 bucks is a pretty good incentive for designing something, even for the non-pony fans. And for those pursuing Art and Design, a contest entry could be something good for your portfolio in the future so even for the non-pony fans entering a t-shirt design contest might be something to look into.

If you didn't want to get involved, then why post? The Miscellaneous Guidelines already discpurage posting in a thread if you're not interested in a topic and have nothing to contribute to it.
