Re: Starlight Games (staff only)

sorry i haven't been on for a while. Been busy with my own collab... beach tycoon. Now that it's half term I can spend three times longer so hopefully I can catch up and get back to work on Prehistoric. It's looking good- just a few final adjustments.

And have we agreed yet? Will we have a boss battle at the end of each time zone? I thought it would be quite interesting.

Re: Starlight Games (staff only)

right here's my problems:

1. Top-down Rayman is just a yellow dot so when someone has time they need to change the images into a top-down Rayman with the right angles (Yes they can change it to any character they want instead, as long as the number of costumes are the same throughout the entire game)

2. I have spent ages designing multiple bosses but either they are too complicated and do not work or they are boring and rubbish. So I have got level 3 terrain ready, where the character of everyone's choice can jump on disappearing clouds to shoot certain areas of the body at the right moment. So, I need someone to actually make and program the enemy.

3. There is an obvious location in the "Cosy Caves" level where a key is meant to be, and outside of the "Lava Hold" level there is a grey line which has been cut open. A top-down lock is meant to go there.

4. The numbers on the northern blocks are meant to make a code. When you go to the "LavaHold" there will be stone tablets spread around saying "First turn left and head up" then "secondly turn right and walk through". Then the last one will say "look at the numbers on the ground as you walk through each area. add the first 2, minus the third room, times the fourth room..." and you get a code which unlocks the door to world three.

I would have done these myself but I am planning new things which will take plenty of time, and this is my last day on holiday so I will be back at high school. In other words I had to end this but in a couple of weeks I will return to check on the progress. I hope this starter world gives inspiration for the next few time periods rather than wastes everyone's time.
