Quick idea, if the crop fails, there could be a crisis in the homeland area, and drastic weather changes like drought would give a bad (or even dead) crop.

i have a idea... Maybe you could do animals too like Cows, Sheep, horses, and you would have to feed them and sheer the sheep and stuff like that. also if you don't mind im going to try to make a mockup of the home screen

Hmm, not sure. Its not really the point of the game. Maybe in a different edition of this.
