OK. So I've got a cold. I went to make myself a cup of tea. I didn't realize that there was already enough water in the electric kettle to warm up enough for a single cup. I filled it to the top, not seeing the "max" line. I turned it on and turned to walk away, back to lunch. But when I turned it on, it started overflowing, and a second later it was sitting in a puddle of water. As I turned, my hand touched that water, which had shorted the kettle. My arm felt kinda weird, and I screamed.
I went to sit down, and my mom turned off electricity to the house. She unplugged the kettle using oven gloves that were plastic-coated, to better hold off any current that might still be running.
I feel OK now, but that was scary.
I'll also be more careful about liquid near electricity.

I've been electrocuted.... I plugged in the lamp, and my finger was touching some metal. My arm went numb... It was interesting. But unlike you, I didn't scream.

Yeah, my arm was kind of numb and vibrating, at least that's what it felt like.

I almost blacked out.... It was interesting. Another note, don't ever fall on a concrete fall and hit your head. I do it all too much. It hurts like the devil.

You guys haven't been electrocuted.
Thats the term used if you died of it. You are obviously still alive.

I was dared to lick a 5 volt and I did. It was awesome but I think 9 volts could be getting a little be dangerous (Make sure the batteries have a low current).

High voltage isn't dangerous. High amp count is.

Yeah, I'm feeling OK now.
After the electric kettle broke, we boiled water for my tea on the gas stove. XD

I once opened up a disposable camera and got an electric shock. My arm went numb and I couldn't drink for a few hours.
