I'm making a book called Scratchrs, a group of children that solve crimes, and stuff, like the famour five, or secret seven. So, is it okay to call it Scratchrs (That's the name of the children's club)? Or is that stealing the Scratch name?

Huh, interesting question. I'll pass it on to the other Scratch Team members and see what they say.

Probably not since it's not "Scratchers"
Yea, I suppose, since Scratchrs isn't copyright in any way. I'll just wait and see what cheddargirl or Paddle2See say.

okay, so I floated the question around, and Paddle did give an answer, but it's not the "official" answer, per se, so I won't post it up just yet. Let's wait for a few days to see if any other ST members come up with a more definitive answer.

Yeah, Paddle and I are more involved in the moderation side of Scratch, not the development side. Hence why I'm still circulating the question among ST members.

I'd think that the only trademark it could interfere with is ScratchR, but that's not related to literature/books so I'd guess it'd be fine. It'd be good to wait for the official response though.

I'd say it's OK, but yeah, wait for the official answer.
And great cover!
