Installing Mac OS X on PC HELP!!

I've been trying to install Mac OS X on my PC for a while, but I keep running into problems. Can someone please tell me step by step how to do this 100% free, with all of the needed downloads?

Thanks!

Re: Installing Mac OS X on PC HELP!!

Your gonna need to download a lot sometimes, and sometimes you won't. Try wiki.osx86project.org.

Freebie. Not a Scratch OS, a REAL OS you can boot to, by msdosdude.

Re: Installing Mac OS X on PC HELP!!

-_- You can't do it for free.

You need to have Mac OS X in order to install it onto a computer.

And I'm pretty sure you can't do that...

Re: Installing Mac OS X on PC HELP!!

It's possible, but it requires very specific hardware, since Mac OS X is designed to work only on Apple hardware. I've tried installing Mac OS X in VirtualBox before, but it didn't work out too well. Just Google around, you'll find stuff.

Yawn.

I have Snow Leopard on Vbox, and Lion as my main OS.

It shouldn't be too hard with virtualisation but I don't know how hard it would be to install it on a separate partition  smile

IMPOSSIBRU

Apple is weird and so are their computers, so the motherboard has to be just right to make it work, and only Macs are set up to run OSX well.

I assume you're running Lion on a Mac?  tongue
It's more difficult for us people with non-Apple PCs to install Mac OS X, even with virtualization; if you want to install it directly onto a non-Apple PC, it requires even more specific hardware.

THAT IS INCORRECT
Plenty of people have gotten Mac OS X to work on non-Apple PCs; just Google around. (I like that term XD)

Some of the tutorials make you use BIOS to force in the OSX but I don't think you need to do that  hmm

And yes, I'm running Lion on a Mac.  wink
