I'm sure this has been asked many times before, but does anyone have either a project or website containing some good sounds? You can also suggest music sources, but I'm not really in need of music, only sound effects.
I usually use places like SoundBible, (www.soundbible.com) but I'm actually not sure how to get good sound effects for this particular project. If you can help, I would gladly appreciate it and give you credit on the project for helping me.
I won't spoil too many things about my new game, but I'll start with stating that it has a spider theme, particularly black widows. I will most likely update this as I go, but here is a list of sounds I currently need:
1. A cool sound effect of any kind to play as the spider is spinning its web. If you think it should stay silent, please suggest that, as I'm kind of leaning towards that option.
2. A sound to play when you buy something. Could be a ring, a sparkle sound, a pop, anything. I've heard a few sounds that would be sufficient, but they have been used in a few projects already and I'd like something that has barely been used/seen.
3. Possibly a woosh sound, both wooshing in and out. I'm thinking about using this as an effect for a title going across the screen, so I will need one coming in and going out. A quality woosh. :]
4. Any sound that you think would be appropriate for a panel sliding out and back in. Similar to an inventory expanding and minimizing.
5. Maybe a negative sound when you are unable to do something. Definitely not like a buzzer or anything. You know the sound programs like WordPad uses when you try to do something you are unable to do? Like pressing the down arrow when there isn't anything to move to? A sound like that.
6. Bug sounds. ANY bug sound. Fly, bee, wasp, moth, beetle, anything.
7. If there's any other sound you find that you think would be appropriate for this game, please share it.
** If I use any sound you suggested, I will give credit to both you and the original supplier. **

Thanks! That really helps! But I still can't find some of the sounds I'm looking for... I'll keep looking there.
