I'm confused by the question. What do you mean by "remixing taking away the fun of updating"?

I think she means when you upload a new version, it says "Based off My Project"

i didnt even know you could update projects o;O
and if you can, i think she means, that if somebody else modifies your project, while you are still trying too work on it or something, does it take the fun out of adding something new to it (btw how do you update a project anyway?)

I meant that.
You update a project by sharing a project with the same title.

I'm guessing it depends on the user on whether or not it takes the fun out of updating. For me I have a project still in progress which I update every once in a while with minor fixes, but I wouldn't mind someone remixes it while it's still being updated (after all, you never know when a remix can reveal something about your project that you could learn from).
On a related note, it would be cool to see update dates so one could tell whether or not a certain remix has occurred before or after a certain update.
