Lately a lot of my comments have been like:
(Reply to a comment above that uses the emote) How do you do that???
Or
_ Meow _ sorry just testin this thing out
Or
_Meow_ _Meow_ _Meow_
I'm sick of this new emote thing! It incresases spam, and it's not very fun either. Can the scratch team make a filter to prevent this from happening all the time?

I'm pretty sure they're not going to filter it, because they probably wouldn't add it in the first place.
However, I think that you should flag spam posts.
like:
spammer wrote:
_Meow_ _Meow_...
but not:
notspammer wrote:
I suggest you add a "save" feature _Meow_
(The person is using it as a proper emoticon.)

Oh, so that's how you do it! I saw it in a comment and was extremely confused
Yeah, I can see all the people spamming it on the frontpage, but then again, this only happened in the last day or so. People will probably stop abusing it once it loses its novelty.

^Yep, that's good approach, when it comes to dealing with the meow trend.

I did one of these (on a nyan cat creator) Maybe make a _meow_ face for nyan cat!
I don't think that's spam, but I saw a comment that reached the chartacter limit while making cats.

Yea! _meow_ is getting annoying. So annoying! When did it even start?!

I know! I actually LOVE the little _meow_ cat, but I can't believe some people are overusing it to the point that I feel embarrassed using it once in a comment. I sometimes use statements such as, "Great game! Favorited! _meow_" or "Thanks a bunch! _meow_". I also have no problems with others using it that way. I know some people want to know how to use it, but really? I guarantee there are about fifty comments on each project stating how to do it. That's how I figured it out, not by asking, but by accidentally coming across a comment with the answer. I don't understand the point to typing _meow_ until you reach the character limit. That is spam. Then there's the users who type _usemeow_ then, after seeing it failed, ask how to do the emote.
Okay, this has become a lengthy rant, so I'll stop now. XD

I will be considered spam, but it won't be deleted. (just like they won't delete (link to project))

_meow_ Is that what you are all fussing about? Well I don't use much emotes when posting a comment but I totally agree with putting a 1 emote limit per comment. And if everything goes well maybe more emotes could be added!
