I use Scratch in an elementary school computer lab. We use Scratch on Macs.
My students have accidentally dragged the paint editor off the screen a few times. And on more than one occasion I was unable to get it back. The result was that they couldn't perform any other actions. The program would say, "Please close the Paint Editor first." The only way I could solve the problem was to force-quit Scratch and lose their work. Upon restarting the paint editor would default back to where it should be.
Are there any workarounds for this problem?
Thanks!

I looked around and the bug seems to be a real one---it is possible to move the paint editor well past the edges of the scratch window and no way to get it back!

Hi, Nate and Kevin.
This is defintely a bug in Scratch. To recover without having to quit, just enter and leave presentation mode.
I'm sorry, Nate, if some of your kids lost their work...
Thanks for reporting this bug. It will be fixed in the next version of Scratch.
