Scratching my head! (because I don't know! :P)
How do I join the Scratch Team at MIT? I really want 2. Any friends think they could help this gal?

All the members of the Scratch Team are students at MIT's Media Lab, except for cheddargirl who was given the title so she could work more on the main site, but that was probably a one time thing.
So unless you go to college at MIT, you can't join the Scratch Team. Sorry.

I think Paddle2See is also another exception (to my understanding, he's not a student at MIT's Media Lab either! ^^).

^Yep, what gettysburg11 has said pretty much sums it up. Such cases of a non-MIT student becoming part of the Scratch Team are pretty rare. In case you're still interested, this page has more info about Scratch Team members on the site.
You could opt to try and become a Community Moderator instead if and when the next set of moderator elections comes up.

*facepalm* Yeah, I forgot about him. But again, that was another special exception.
