Let's post what we like about the Scratch Forums too! Here's a couple of mine:

1. So many helpful Scratchers! Where there is a post like "I need help with..." there are almost always two or three helpful people that try and solve the problem.

2. So many interesting projects advertised on the Show and Tell! Most of them have links right to the project too, so it's really easy to check them out.

I like it when other people make helpful clubs like the Crituque Group and...well, I can't remember the others but there were loads! big_smile

Yeah, the Critique Groups are a great idea! I'm still trying to figure out what topic I should set one up for. I like all kinds of projects!

I like people on the forums who think about what they're doing and explain very clearly to answer what the other person is asking!

I like the ones who are actually on the forums to help and advertise CORRECTLY. I don't really like those people who make fake accounts to spam the forums though, to explain the above.

I love the fact how people help other when they need it and give out pointer! Thats the way people develop skills

I like the fact that although I have lost all my scratch projects again, and I was completely out of ideas, I have a look through here, and there's loads of inspiration!

That is my favorite thing about the Scratch forums. People can always be sure to get at least one good answer to their question, no matter what level it's at.

I like it when someone poses a specific problem with a clearly articulated goal, and one of the many Scratch black belts on the forums posts a solution like a well-aimed shuriken...

I like when people share thier knowledge openly, without acting like its thiers and only thiers. If anyone asks a question, there is always someone to answer. If anyone makes a topic explaining how to do something, there is always someone who needed that help.

I also like it when someone posts a project and then asks people to remix it (which you would expect under the creative commons), and then someone actually remixes it...

Yeah, I actually just noticed my Super Mario Brothers game is on top remixed. I guess people took my ideas and scripting and used it to create there own game. Or they just totally copied mine and gave me no credit tongue

I like that people help the Scratch Team find bugs smile But my favorite thing is when people help each other and collaborate in making projects together.

Well first I wasn't going to post on this forum because the things I like about the scratch forums are basically the same as everyone else's and it would be a waste of time and make it harder to read the post but then Paddle2See posted on my forum about what is annoying on the scratch forums and I thought of something to say! On the forums, the thing i like is that you can have really intellegent discussions and people actually take you seriously!
