better microphone input
In Scratch 1.4 youcan only read the volume of the microphone. What if Scratch could "hear" the sounds you said, for example to compare them with a database like in google translate?

I don't think that's really possible. I think a (pitch) block would be nice though.

I think what you're looking for is speech-recognition of sorts, right? I'm afraid that that's highly unlikely to ever come to Scratch, at least not any time soon. It's just far too difficult to develop. For more clarification, you should read part 9 of this thread.
