Portable Scratch for Windows on Mac

I have a mac, and I would like to put a portable version of Scratch 1.4 on my USB stick.

Is there a way to do this?

Thanks!  smile

Re: Portable Scratch for Windows on Mac

I have tried before, just download the windows version and move everything to the USB, running the IMAGE or EXE works usually.

Re: Portable Scratch for Windows on Mac

Well, you could download the Windows version and put that on the USB. You won't be able to run it on your Mac, but you can still put it on the USB for later use.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Re: Portable Scratch for Windows on Mac

You won't be able to use the Windows version on your Mac, but, however, you can put both the Windows version and the Mac version in the same folder on your USB and it should work perfectly. (You should only need one IMAGE file, and anything else you need for Scratch) This way, you can run the version of scratch based on which system you're running, and keep all of your projects in one place.

Hope this helps!  wink
