that might have a demo ;D

My collab counselor status means that I'm helping out with the Collab Camp this year 

And yeah, like GLaDOS (    ) said, I think you can play it on multiple computers, but you have to download it on each one (only paying once). It takes forever to download just an FYI. I bought the combo pack and it took 5+ hours (at least!) for both of them to download... Well worth the wait though

Oh, and you need to have a fairly good graphics card, it requires you to have one that came out in 2007 or later.

There is NO REASON that the demo should be a bigger file than the actual main game.

I'm pretty sure it includes the entire game for some reason. >_<

Maybe you can buy it in-game, so you can just purchase it and it unblocks the premium stuff?
The speed thing could also be because Steam could use boosters on purchasers, and not people that just get free games.

It's probably the former. I'm pretty sure Steam doesn't throttle downloads, because I still get solid speeds when downloading demos.
